Thom Brennaman is an American sportscaster who was born and raised in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and now lives in the United States. The day he came into the world was September 12, 1963. While he was still in school, he struggled with the question of whether or not he should go into the same line of work as his father. He had no notion that he had a taste for music prior to beginning his volunteer job at WATH radio station; in fact, he had no idea that he even liked music. After he got his degree from Ohio University, he started working as a sports reporter for WLWT-TV in Cincinnati, which is an NBC affiliate. In this job, he went to many different sporting events. During this time, he wrote about a wide range of sports events.
During that time, he also worked as an announcer for the Cincinnati Reds baseball team. In 1994, he started working at Fox News, where he learned a lot that would help him in his future work. After making some rude comments about LGBT people while a match was going on, he found himself in the middle of a terrible scandal. Soon after that, the Reds decided not to put him on their team for the next game they were going to play.
