Luz Gonzalez was an American child who had just turned four years old when she was tragically taken from this world in the United States because of a hit-and-run. When they were both standing on the sidewalk in Bushwick at the same time, a woman the same age as both of them, 38, drove her car over the child and then ran over and killed the other person. On June 24, 2017, Luz and her mother were at the place where the terrible accident happened. They were walking through Bushwick at about 4:30 in the afternoon when they saw a laundry at 82 Wyckoff Avenue.

Also, the police talked to a small number of people who said they saw a woman and her child both get hurt. When they got to that place, Luz was in a very bad way, and blood was constantly pouring out of the wounds she had gotten. She finally took her last breath at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, where she also died.
